Meg Wolfe/Show Box presents two weeks of experimental dance from New York and Los Angeles artists, at Unknown Theater in Hollywood as part of the 2008 Dance Series. Featuring the premiere of Eleven Missing Days, for which I was the composer and sound designer, other short works by guest artists include: Faye Driscoll (NYC) and Arianne Hoffmann (LA), casebolt & smith (L.A.) and Sam Kim (NYC).

Bent Festival Los Angeles
Hosted by Grand Performances (LA) and The Tank (NYC), this year's festival features an incredible roster of national and international circuit benders of all shapes and sizes! I was so glad to have this team of courageous curators and organizers - Cooper Baker, Thadeus Frazier-Reed, Lewis Keller, Marc Nimoy, Lorin Edwin Parker and Phil Stearns.

Artists include Mark Trayle, Arthur Jarvinen, Michael Pisaro, Phil Niblock, Thomas Ankersmit and many more. 13 concerts in the shortest month of the year - luckily... it's a leap year.

365 Days - 365 Plays opens at the
Highways Performance Space in Santa Monica
One of the better interpretations of the plays (not because I'm biased), Patrick Kennely and Leo Garcia curated an evening of music, dance, performance art and theater around Suzanne Lori Parks' work. They created a performance where early 20th and 21st centuries converged under a big top. The event mapped two immagrants' journey through a Breughelian world of indulgence that bordered neo-psychedelia.

My installation Digital Reanimation Through the Corpse of James T. Russell for discarded CDs, aluminum cans, sewing needles, wood, glue, nails, electrical wire and motors spun until the wheels fell off. The fourth annual art festival hosted by Flood in Long Beach.

The ultimate night at the Kunst Halle in Darmstadt was the subject of a 20 minute expose on Radio Hessen - H3. RTO was featured as the "installation in the foyer of the toilettes" - it was IN the toilettes too!
